Public transport

The start of the 20, 27 and 42 km on the Dam in Amsterdam is near Amsterdam Central Station. The start of the 10 km is a two-kilometer walk from NS Station Zaandam. More information about public transport and timetables can be found at:

Parking

If you travel by car, you have to take into account a limited number of (paid) parking spaces. In this case, it’s best to use the P+R locations below (or a P+R near you), from where you can transfer to the train to Zaandam Station and Amsterdam Central Station.

• P+R ArenA: (approximately 6.000 places, suitable is you come from the South, Southwest and East of the Netherlands). For the conditions, see amsterdam.nl.
• P+R Amsterdam Sloterdijk: (about 250 places, suitable if you come from the West of the Netherlands). For conditions, see amsterdam.nl.
• Parking Zaandam (Q-park):
  Hermitage (1506 TX Zaandam) 900 parking spaces
  Rozenhof (Zilverpadsteeg 1506 BE Zaandam) 400 parking spaces
  Rates: The first 52 minutes or part thereof € 2.00, then every 26 minutes or part thereof € 1.00. Maximum daily rate €19.00. More information can be found at www.q-park.nl.

Shuttle buses

After your finish in the Dam tot Dam Park, you can make use of the free shuttle buses to Station Zaandam. You can board at the Schepenlaan. Follow the sings from the Dam tot Dam Park. The buses run until 17.00 hours.
